By Julissa Frausto, Features Editor

On October 28 through November 1, Red Ribbon Week will take place at Hastings as a way to encourage students to be drug-free.

On Monday, October 28, students are encouraged to wear any red outfit or clothing article with hearts to manifest that they love themselves and will not do drugs.

On Tuesday, students can wear a hat to school to represent that drugs are bad and that they should stay away from them.

On Wednesday, students can dress up as their favorite Disney or Nickelodeon character to convey that drugs are not fictional and drug addiction is an actual issue in our country.

On Thursday, students are encouraged to wear a costume to portray the idea of scaring drugs away but should limit themselves to no masks and or weapons.

Lastly, on Friday students can wear a team jersey to represent the school uniting against drugs. Do not miss out on this great opportunity to manifest your stance against drugs.
