Food Frenzy: main campus vs. HGNC
If you go to Hastings you’ve heard of the term “Food Frenzy”. Food frenzy is a day that happens only on Fridays occasionally and it’s when food vendors like chick fil a, Canes and Fuddruckers come to our school to sell us food during lunch. It doesn’t even have to be Food vendors. They sell snacks like candy, chips …etc.
But the ninth grade center and main campus do things a little differently. In the main campus they have a variety of vendors. In the ninth grade center we’re lucky to get at least two. Which are chick fil a and taco cabana.
Even though the main campus has more options to choose from, they don’t have food frenzies as often as the ninth graders. It makes sense in a way because the ninth graders don’t have as many options as Main campus and balancing it out like that makes it fair. Food Frenzy is an opportunity most schools don’t have, and it helps us become more independent, kind of makes us lucky.
