Advancing Alief
September 25, 2019
The new Alief Center for Advanced Careers, built on Richmond Avenue beginning in 2017, was designed to set students up for success in life. The school caters to many fields including culinary arts, automotive technology, architecture, digital design, construction design, health science and industrial robotics.
The state of the art building is equipped with technology and other helpful programs to help students achieve success. Students interested in pursuing the programs offered at the center begin in introductory classes at their home campus. As the students progress, they are enrolled in off-campus courses at ACAC.
Freshman Tuong Lam is excited to go there for his digital design classes. “I think it’s pretty cool that there’s actually a digital design class in ACAC with state of the art tools that help me become successful in my passion. I’m lucky to be going to this next year,” said Lam.
