Anna Tran is currently a junior at Hastings High School. Throughout these years she has noticed the number of changes that have happened in the past couple of years. As Tran moved into ninth grade, she knew that her schoolwork and personal life would be different from middle school. Tran said, “I walked into the first day of freshman year without any friends. I tried to make new ones but it took a while.” During her sophomore year, Tran decided to switch things up by leaving band and joining photography. “I thought that I would enjoy the class but I didn’t have any friends,” Tran said. Tran is currently starting her junior year but she can already feel the pressure on her back. “The work became so much harder than before and a lot to handle, I feel stressed but I know that it’ll be worth it in the end.”
