Is Nigerian Jollof rice or Ghanaian Jollof rice better?

A lot of West Africans have this long-running debate over who’s country cooks the better Jollof rice. Both countries feel like theirs is better, so I did an interview around the school and asked students which one they felt was better. I was actually surprised when no one said Ghanaian Jollof rice was better; all of the students said Nigeria’s Jollof rice was better. Both countries are known for the dish, but in my personal opinion, I feel like Nigeria’s Jollof rice is better, partly because I’m Nigerian myself. A lot of the students here are Nigerian, so that might be part of the reason why they also said Nigeria’s was better. The rice’s creator wasn’t from Ghana nor Nigeria; they were from Senegal. I don’t think there will ever be a true answer to who’s Jollof rice better, I think its just opinion based . The majority of the people I interviewed picked Nigeria’s Jollof rice, so I’ll say Nigeria wins this round.
