Why are we waking up so early?
Waking up at 5 in the morning everyday can be stressful. Especially if we go to school for 8 hours. Many students usually have trouble staying up in school and it effects their grades and their mental state.
Mr. Jones tried to explain the purpose of waking up early. “It is preparing us for the real world,” Jones said.
But I think it’s a bunch of crap. Some jobs don’t even wake up that early which helps me find it hard to believe that waking up at 5 in the morning prepares us for the real word.
Another valid reason waking up early isn’t the best choice is because people need sleep to function.
Why do you think you always find a student resting their heads in the classroom? They are tired, they need sleep and waking up at 5 in the morning is not a good way to start any day for 5 days a week.
School shouldn’t start so early because it’s not healthy and does nothing but make us tired and dread going to school mental state.
