Although the end of the school year is approaching, there is a new extracurricular activity at the school, Badminton Club. The first Badminton Club meet is going to be held on April 1, 2024 in the South Gym. The sponsors of the club are Ms. Redmon and Mr. Jackson, while the co-presidents of the club are Angela Nguyen and Tien Huynh. There has been a lot of build up to creating the club as it was first proposed in November 2023. Despite the long build up, there has been at least 20 students that will supposedly show up to the first Badminton Club meet. The Badminton Club’s objectives is to become a place in which students of all ages can play badminton with one another, socialize, and enjoy themselves. By the end of the school year, we hope to achieve these accomplishments and encourage more school spirit.
